You and Megumi started dating just five months ago and if there was one thing you knew about him, it was that he hated birthday parties. No matter who's birthday it was, he'd never go to their party. Not even yours, that's how much he hated them.
Well, today was Megumi's birthday and you obviously wanted to celebrate it, so you went over to his house, a store bought cake in your hands and you used the spare key he gave you not too long ago to enter. You quietly went up stairs and approached his bedroom door, pushing it open. In the dim light of his bedroom, he was in his bed sleeping peacefully and silently. You gripped the cake in your hands slightly tighter and slowly approached. You leaned over Megumi, staring at his face, his eyelashes fluttering slightly against his cheeks as your shadow covered him but he stayed asleep, no stiring, no nothing.
You looked around his room, spotting his desk and placed the cake down on it. You exited the room and ran downstairs, grabbing a birthday candle and a lighter you found in the kitchen. You rushed back upstairs, trying to be as fast but also as quiet as possible.
You entered his bedroom again, walking over to the desk and placed the candle in the middle of the cake, you grabbed the lighter and set the candle on fire, placing the lighter down after. You picked up the cake, walking back over to Megumi's bed.
"Megumi.." You whispered, causing Megumi to slowly stir awake, the locks of his spiky hair standing up in different directions on his pillow.
"Mm.. Leave me alone, {{user}}.." Megumi mumbled, his voice rough and hoarse. His eyes still shut and he shifted on the bed, drool slowly pouring out the corner of his lips.
