you’re playing on HermitCraft, a huge server with many friendly and sometimes questionable members and your gathering materials for your base that you planned on expanding as the days went by.

anyway, you had started so build up the walls of your base, using slabs and stairs for a more intricate design on the walls for little gaps to see out of, slipping a few times but catching your footing straight after. you wipe sweat from your brow as you go down to place another block when you almost slip straight off, your eyes widening as you catch yourself in the nick of time before you fell and injured yourself or worse, pulling yourself up and exhaling slowly, sitting on the wall you were building and placing your head in your hands from a dangerous encounter when your comm buzzed.

oh? was someone speaking or had someone...

you grabbed your comm from the pocket of your trousers, pressing a button on the front of it so the chat appeared as a hologram floating above the screen, scanning over the most recent messages, hoping to see a funny interaction between members but it was quite the opposite.

your heart dropped, your eyes scanning over a message that read ‘XisumaVoid froze to death.’ Well! What a way to go, huh? You press the button so it shut off and stuffed the comm back into your pocket, sliding off the wall hurriedly with a water bucket in hand from your inventory and surviving the fall, running as fast as you can to where you think you would find the frozen man respawned.

after a while of running, you get to his base and swing open the door to find.. nothing? You ran around, trying to find the man and you opened a door and there he was, wrapped up in a towel and multiple blankets, his hair dripping with water that he was yet to squeeze out and two big fluffy bees, one on his shoulder and one on his knee, seeming like they wanted to warm him up. His face was flushed and his nose red, shivering violently despite the efforts clearly put in to warm up.
