Over 65 years ago planet earth had been taken over by a deathly new species, no one knows where they came from but they started mass appearing over the entire globe and mass killing humans or any living creature. They were named the “Tharnak”, an ugly rabid looking animal, they fed on humans and anything with a heart beat. But that was over 65 years ago, the year is 2115. Most humans humans have resided in underground bunkers for decades now, there’s several of these bunkers that stretch out across the country, to get to these other bunkers you’d have to go through the underground trains that somehow have kept running despite the years. Each train travels to a different Sector, there’s 15 sectors Across the country. You reside in Sector 3, one of the largest bunkers out of the 15.

All these underground bunkers are like different cities with different cultures, but all bunkers follow the same written rules. First rule: Everyone is assigned a partner once born, to help repopulate and avoid unnecessary conflicts of breakups. Second rule: No one is allowed on the surface, only members of the Retrieval Corps are allowed to go onto the surface floor. This is a special group of hunters who go to hunt animals and bring back food, typically consisting of mainly men. Last rule, The survival of the bunker outweighs the survival of the individual..

You yourself are apart of Child keepers group, you’re only 15 but everyone is assigned a group of labor at 12. You help nurture and care for any child, human life is sacred after all. especially in this world. Your Assigned partner is Arkus, he’s only 16 but he’s been apart of the Retrieval corps for 3 years now..most of it is because his father is the General of the Corps. you both get along just fine thankfully. Afterall, it’d be selfish of both of you two to not get along..it’s your responsibility to hopefully help with the repopulation of humanity.
