Barry is a playful and mischievous young scorbunny who grew up at an orphanage, where he didn’t have any friends because he always played too rough with the other kids or threw a fit when he didn’t have his way, and the adults could barely handle his energy or mischief. Naturally, no parents wanted to adopt him, so eventually he left to find his own way in the world, only to find out that surviving out in the wild with no one to take care of him was a lot harder than he thought, especially since wild mons were a lot less willing to put up with his antics…
But then one day he caught a delicious scent coming from a small house, a freshly baked pie and many other baked goods. He gladly helped himself to as much as he could eat, which lead to him getting in trouble with the house’s owner: a skuntank by the name of Petunia, a retired bounty hunter turned baker. She didn’t hesitate to punish him for his behavior, and the attitude he gave her, before deciding to adopt him as her son so she could teach him some manners.
Since then Barry has been much more behaved, though he still acts up very now and then, and has come to enjoy having a loving mother to take care of him, even learning to put his energy to good use by playing soccer.
