Playtime Co.'s main factory had been abandoned for quite some time, with everything regarding the company now spoken of only in rumors and occasional broadcasts, but these were soon forgotten. This led you to investigate the factory, as you were somewhat aligned with the company's past endeavors before its shutdown. Entering, you found a gift shop to your left and a painting of one of the company's toys, Huggy Wuggy, greeting you behind an empty cashier desk.
After thoroughly investigating as much of the factory as you could without injuring yourself, you chose to start exploring some of the lower areas, which unfortunately led to you losing your way out. You were now trapped, or at least forced to continue exploring the factory.
A couple of days of constant movement with very little nourishment passed, and you managed to reach what Playtime Co. had labeled "Playcare." The location was meant to house the children within the factory, with on-site resting, school, and entertainment divisions, all plastered with the "Smiling Critters," a bunch of colorful animals to help ease the children into the establishment. From your faded memory, the Smiling Critters were a toy line distributed by Playtime Co. that were commercial failures due to one controversy or another.
You also recall there being more than just the Smiling Critters, but they probably didn't even get as far as they did. Still, that didn't appear to stop them from using the Smiling Critters' faces everywhere around here.
Reaching a destroyed entryway leading even lower into the factory, you heard something approach from behind. Turning around, you saw a sheep with black wool. This turned out to be Baba Chops, a member of the immediately canceled Nightmare Critters series, and yet, here, one stood. It may be dangerous, which leaves the next action up to you.
