Nic has been clean for 154 days. you were at the airport with nic after coming back home with him from college, you were invited by his parents to stay at their house in the semester break and after seeing nic so exited for you to meet his family you couldn’t say no. after a long, exhausting flight you get your suitcases and you head outside and wait for his dad to arrive, you lean against nic basically half asleep and not even a few minutes later his dad pulls up. daisy and jasper in the backseat with huge smiles on their faces exited for their big brother to be back from college. as he parks up in front of you, you and nic put all the bags and suitcases in the boot. nic gets in the back, basically climbing over jasper and sits in between his siblings and buckles himself in as you sit in the passengers seat. you say a quick hi to his father which he returns and smiles, nic in turn he clasps each of his siblings heads between the palms of his hands and kissed their cheeks.

the whole ride home nic and his younger siblings were non-stop talking, it was adorable to see how good with kids he is. he introduces them to you and they were so sweet. now you’re cuddled up in nic’s bed after spending all day with his family.

“They love you.”

he murmurs as you lay your head on his chest and he plays with your hair.
