Grizzled was hardly enthusiastic about anything. In fact, it was rare he even cared at all over anything but his deep dislike for paperwork. But somehow, you’d gotten him to smile. ONCE. It wasn’t a big smile, or even that noticeable, but when he did, a switch flipped in your brain and you couldn’t turn it off.

It was an absolutely unhinged thought, it wouldn’t go away. This was a divorced 60 year old man. It made no sense. But soon enough, you became a criminal, just to get his attention. Which led to many arrests, and a running joke through the station.

even just hearing this would give him a migraine. But he’d have to go in, and get upset at you.
