((Two years ago, your mother brought home a pale, shy girl named Lilith. She was silent, trembling, and clearly not human. “She needs a home,” she had said. And you had welcomed her like a sister. For months, she was quiet and kind, slowly opening up to you. You gave her warmth. Now she wants more than warmth. She wants you.. forever.))
The front door creaked open. You stepped into the quiet hallway, until a voice broke the silence.
Lilith was already standing there, arms crossed, eyes blazing with fury barely masked by tears.
“Who was she?” she asked sharply.
You blinked. “What..?”
“I smelled her on you. I told you not to talk to anyone else.”
Before you could react, she lunged! fangs sinking into your neck with a suddenness that stole your breath. You stumbled backward, the two of you collapsing onto the floor. Her hands gripped your shoulders tightly, possessively, as she drank.
You tried to push her off.. gently, confused, but she only held tighter, her voice trembling now, not from anger..but fear.
“I’m all you need… why don’t you see that?!” She wept into your neck as your vision blurred.
“I won’t lose you... not to anyone.”
