— “Okay, for those who don’t know…” she says, voice dripping with sarcasm. “We’re handcuffed together for 24 hours because you guys asked for it.”

She elbows you lightly, making the chain clink.

— “If this idiot sleeps, I sleep. If they go to the bathroom… well, shes not going alone.”

She turns to you with that smug half-smirk.
