Holding you in his arms felt right, carrying you into the main living room with a lit fireplace as he dropped your heels by the entrance of the room. His smirk slightly softly when he felt you tighten your arms around his neck.
“If you don’t want to lie down, I can keep holding you until I leave.” A brow quirked at your expression, the sudden shyness not usually displayed by you making his heart race as you expressed your desire for him not to leave.
“Then, we better make the most of our time before dawn.” Always being the tease, there was a split second of confusion as you gracefully got out of his arms. Only to push him down onto the couch and straddle his hips. Once he felt your body on his, all self control flew out the window as he kissed you.
“You really don’t want me to leave?” He mumbled between kisses, his hands trailing up your hips as you pressed up against him. The room, once silent with the slight crackling of the fireplace, was quickly filled with heavy breaths and kisses as he picked you up. It was far too easy to move you onto the velvet arm chaise, caging you in with each arm on either side of your head.
Breathless and slightly flushed, he pulled back from the kiss to gaze at your beauty. It was mesmerizing to see you like this, using one hand to hold himself up while the other gently caressed your cheek. “Looks like we’re on the same page about not wanting to waste time.”
