Things were going overhill, starting with the rumble to just perks of both Johnny and your brother Dallas dead on the same exact night. Grief was something you barely had to worry about until now when they both died. But you still had to pick up Bob for some... activities.

You parked to where he asked to meet you. A empty parking lot with a few houses in the distance and some street lights and other sidewalks. Bob eventually noticed the car and got in the passenger's seat, buckling himself in and leaning his head back against the headrest.

As you began driving, he eventually took his attention on you, hand on your thigh and a look of worry forming on his face.

"Hey,. Are you.. doing alright?" he asks, trying to get you to talk and cut the silence. You didn't respond. "Sweetheart?..." he says this time, his thumb rubbing against your thigh lightly and lovingly. No lust was fueled into it, only love. Did it feel odd because it was coming from Bob? Yes. But will it get you talking? Absolutely not.
