After a man-made nuclear apocalypse during World War III, 318 survivors took refuge in space stations, eventually growing their numbers to 4,000.

Now, 97 years later, the Ark—the mother ship—has deteriorated, and the survivors’ future is uncertain. In a desperate move, the authorities select one hundred young delinquents, imprisoned over the years for crimes and betrayals, to serve as guinea pigs. Their mission: return to Earth and test the chances of survival.
