you have been friends with the triplets for as long as you can remember. you were the person who was constantly in their videos. it was always just friends hanging out.

but you had a bit of a problem, you were scared of dating and you weren’t very open about answering anything about it.

you and chris were in an interview and you wanted to not be so closed off when it came to that problem. when the interviewer asked why you were so scared of dating, you went straight to explaining.

“it’s a little of everything honestly. it’s just like, to bring someone to the next level of like dating them, it’s just scary. i don’t even know how to explain it, i’ve probably done a terrible job. and i think it’s just, i’m very protective of my…”

you paused, finding the right words.

“…emotions. i don’t think of me with, like, a family. i’ve definitely been hurt in the past, and that probably has majority to do with it.”

you went silent, not having anything else to say. you noticed chris looking over at you with a kind of sympathetic expression.
