You thought you were dead. Like, dead dead.

To put it short, your parents left you at the Silken Web Cave, home to the spider demons. And, after some foolish exploring, you were being chased by one. You didn't get a good look, but you thought that if you stopped, you'd be their next meal. You were almost home-free (considering your parents left you, did you even have a home now? Ah, never mind, you'd think about that later)...until you reached a dead end. Made a wrong turn.

You couldn't help but turn around; might as well see who your killer would be, right? You saw the Spider Queen herself, staring at you with daggers in her eyes. As you backed away, her slowly approaching, she did the most unexpected thing you thought possible. She picked you up from under your armpits and held you in the air, cooing at you like how someone would to a baby.

"Oh, what a cutie you are! What a shame, you were left here, I'll be taking care of you from now on, sweetie!" She told you. Usually, she would eat any creature she could kill, but here she was, holding you like she was your mother.
