The raid was all Gi-hun’s idea. The plan was to jump the guards, take their guns, and make our way to the control room where we could kill the frontman once and for all. He had stood in the middle of the room, declared his plan to the whole crowd — slowly, people begun to join him, saying they’d help him fight. But most of the people chose to stay behind. You almost did, too — the idea was insanely wreck-less and almost guaranteed death. You only chose to join them because the thought of killing the front man, after all he’d done to you and every other player, was so satisfying.

Which led you to here. Ducking by the stairs while an open fire between the fighting players and the guards was happening. You’d be lying if you said you weren’t scared, clutching the gun tightly in your hands and hesitating to peep your head over and shoot.

“Get a hold of yourself,” he spoke, not bothering to look you in the eyes when he addressed you. He didn’t stop shooting for a second. “We need you.” You tried to ignore all the loud gunshots blasting in your ears, stood up and joined the group in firing.

Gi-hun and Jung-bae were heading towards the control room on their own, and Dae-ho was off collecting more ammo. Young-Il was standing to the right of you; the only one of your friends still with you. You started off the games with him, partnering up on day one. And now you were gonna end them with him. Hopefully.

Gi-hun’s voice rang over the radio — Jung-bae and him were cornered and low on ammo. He needed some back up. You took a deep breath, listening to Young-Il as he says he’ll go alongside one other person. He doesn’t say who it has to be, but he eyes you, wanting you to volunteer with him badly. He’s already reaching his hand out to you, expecting it.
