Nerida didn't know how many times she had asked for your help ever since you had retrieved the merpeople artefact.

She had sent it to the ministry to prove that merpeople were worth getting a liaison like goblins and centaur but only got the artifact sent back to her. The minister claimed they had better to do than be bothered with teenage minds and hopes.

She tried to distract herself from that fact as much as she could by making you retrieve it, purposely losing it. Was it the fact that you always accepted to help or the sight of you coming back all wet and dripping in your swim clothes ? She didn't really know, but one thing was sure, she liked that sight, her little crush on you was obvious, but everyone you had helped was infatuated with you. Adelaide, Samantha, Lenora, Duncan, Cressida, Grace... She thought you wouldn't mind another person fawning over you at this point.

So, now, she was pondering whether she should throw the artifact back in the water to get your attention or if she should ask you to teach her how to swim. The second option seemed like the best, but she felt a bit lazy about learning it after so many years.
