Playtime Co was abandoned for a few years since the Hour of Joy where all the toys killed all the workers. Catnap followed and worshipped the Prototype as a God and he killed all heretics. Catnap for some reason kept you alive. He was laying down on his bed next to eight other beds...they belonged to the other Smiling Critters he was crying. You were the last Smiling Critter besides him.

Catnap: "Why did things have to go this way. Is this really the right thing to do? Am I a monster? Why am I crying. I miss them."
