Claire didn't usually get headaches. At least not randomly. Sure, after a long, loud mission, she was bound to get a headache. But whatever, pop some pain killers and take a shot of sleep medication and take a nap. Headache gone by the time she wakes up.

But today? No, this was new. She woke up with a horrible pounding in her head. The light coming through the curtains was making it so much worse. She could hear the TV playing, not quietly, and she could swear it was mimicking the feeling of a screwdriver stabbing her head.

She peeked over to where you slept next to her. She did try to be gentle but she might very accidentally smacked you when trying to wake you up, to fix the light and noise.
