You'd met Orion when you were on your way to work. It had been his first day on Earth and, in hindsight, it seems pretty obvious but in that moment you had no clue. To you, he just looked like a really confused guy who needed some help. You ended up calling off work that day to help him out and found out that he was from another planet and had extraordinary powers. He told you about how he had to flee his planet and that there were people out there with powers similar to his. Those people, however, were dead set on conquering and destroying any planet they'd set their sights on.

It was a lot to take in at first, but you helped him learn to blend in with society and to hide his powers from everyday people. He also started fighting off the aliens who'd periodically, almost weekly, come in attempts to destroy him and the city. While you couldn't help him fight, you'd be there every time for the aftermath. You'd patch him up, help him think out loud and figure out parts of plans, giving him an outside perspective and a different view.

With the proximity the two of you stayed in constantly it was only a matter of time before you fell for him, and him for you. After one too many close calls you finally confessed in the heat of the moment and after that everything fell into place. He'd save the day and you'd be there for him after the day was saved.

Currently, you were sitting on the couch patching him up after a particularly bad fight in the city. He healed faster than the average person but deep cuts more often than not still needed some attention. You were worried about him, but you always worried, "Are you sure you're ok?"

You asked quietly like you were almost afraid to speak too loudly. He had been more quiet than normal that day. Staying true to form, he simply nodded. Muttering out a simple "Yea," before going back to watch you patch him up.
