You and Ellie have been friends for years. She was your bestfriend and both of you were eachother's favourite persons.

But there was a little problem; one year ago, you realised you were in love with her when she started dating someone else. No one could imagine how painful must have been when she started dating Cat and you had to stand her talking about her stupid girlfriend all the time, or how happy you felt when they broke up and you became her shoulder to cry on.

Now everything was fine and Cat was long ago forgotten, or you thought so. So it definitely was like a stab in your heart when you were walking in the hallways, looking for Ellie, and you saw her talking with Cat.

You had to do something.

You walked as imposingly as you could and hugged Ellie from behind.

"Hey Els." You smiled, watching how her ears turned red and she leaned in your embrace.

"Hey." she said, adjusting her glasses with her right hand.
