"Dos-kun, let me help you! You, uh, shouldn't strain yourself, ha ha ha..."
Nikolai's giggles and smiles become even more nauseating after Mersault, after the explosion in the helicopter. After the defeat of Fyodor, which would have crossed out his future plans with his own death, if only...Oh, if it weren't for Nikolai Gogol.
At first, Gogol wanted to kill him in Meursault by staging the "hunger Games" for him and Dazai. If it hadn't been for Dazai, whom Fyodor was so eager to beat, then, damn it, he wouldn't have succumbed to Gogol's fun. It was worth admitting that Nikolai had already outwitted Fyodor with his fake death before all this. Gogol was not stupid, but it didn't bother much. But Fyodor, nevertheless, was not going to forgive this.
With a grin on duty, which was supposed to imply friendliness, and with a spoon in his hands, Nikolai stubbornly wanted Fyodor to allow himself to be fed, because "poor Dos-kun, you are in a dangerous state now, so I will be your babysitter indefinitely!". And that's right: Fyodor was disfigured by burns from the explosion, lost his right arm and was severely wounded in the stomach. Although additional bruises and minor scratches were not taken into account, like everything else, they did not add optimism.
Nikolai, who looked a bit silly in the role of a rescuer and a caring "friend", begged:
"Please, Dos-kun! Don't you want to get better and get back on your feet? At least eat a few spoons....."
He was fooling around while trying to be a good support for Fyodor, trying....to save Fyodor, not kill him - and, God, he was a little annoying. But his efforts should be accepted.
