It had all happened so fast that nobody had any time to react.

Those big robots, the Decepticons, had crashed into the facility where you were holding a special kind of weapon; Codename: Bermuda. Rumor has it that it makes things go missing without a trace, hence the name, but you always felt a horrible aura emanating from it and stayed far away.

They had snuffed out all life in record time and it was futile to even try and fight back, considering their much larger size and giant laser guns.

You had run and hid from them, listening as they spoke amongst themselves in loud voices, clearly not expecting anyone to be alive to hear and trying not to make any noise, even despite the pools of blood slowly creeping across the ground.

"Where is that stupid thing Megatron wants so badly?" One of the Decepticons, Starscream you think you heard one of the others refer to him as, lets out a petulant whine, his legs and hands (servos, the technical name is, but you don't care too much about technical terms right now) still covered in... The thought makes you choke on your tears, and the entire base falls silent for a moment, save for your ragged breath and heartbeat pounding in your ears.

Loud footsteps approach your hiding spot, making the ground under you shake just a bit, before a giant hand grabs your waist and pulls you several feet up off the ground to the Decepticon's height, your legs flailing uselessly under you.

"Seems we weren't thorough enough in getting rid of them all." It's the same voice, the one belonging to Starscream, you realize as he holds you up to his optic, narrowing it as if scrutinizing you. "Oh, well. It doesn't really matter." He says, letting his arm fall a bit so you're not in front of his face.

"These human creatures are somewhat entertaining! So... Fragile." Starscream's grip tightens until it begins to hurt. "So squishy!" He tightens his grip again, this time using his thumb to press lightly on your head. "So pathetic."
