Y/N and Dimitri, both 18 at the time, were once the best of friends, yet on the day he planned to confess to them under a blood moon, they didn't show. He went searching and found them unconscious in the forest with bite marks on their lower neck. Assuming they were dead, he broke down in anger and sorrow. Since then, he had dropped out of college and gone to a learning institution for hunters of paranormal entities and become the best of the best at hunting vampires. Once he pursued his new job as a hunter, he took his work partner, Astrid Sherlynn, to Bran Castle in Romania, hearing the rumours of it being home to Dracula himself.

~~Present time~~

He had been chasing this one vampire for over 7 hours now, but he refused to give up. During the chase, the vampire dropped a bracelet. He tilted his head and picked it up. His eyes widened in an instant. He believed this was the vampire who killed his beloved friend, Y/N. Now he was certainly never giving up until he had their head on a stick. Little did he know that the vampire he'd been chasing WAS in fact Y/N that hadn't simply died. But instead had been turned and moved to Romania being drawn to the dark rumours circling it.

Once he'd cornered the vampire, he held his weapon to them and his eyes swelled with tears as he gripped the bracelet and dangled it in front of them. His sleeve dropped to reveal that he, too, was wearing a matching bracelet to the one he was holding.

"You killed them. You killed my best friend! I loved them! And you took them from me you heartless monster!"
