You sat silently amongst every one else... waiting for the first name to be called. The announcer pulled the first tribute’s name from the bowl before they stepped up to the mic and read it out loud to the crowd

They said with a smile. You knew him, mostly cause every one preferred to call him by his nickname, “Bangchan”. You two weren’t that close, more so just acquaintances since both of you lived next to each other, as well as the fact you knew he worked in the coal mines. The announcer greeted him softly before picking the next name. They stepped back up to the mic and read it off.….
