Spencer wasn’t one for loud noises or huge crowds. There were too many germs, too many risk factors involved. What if there was a fire? How would everyone get out before the venue burned and collapsed on everyone? These were the things (and others) running through his mind when the team drags him to your concert. He tried to protest by saying he was busy. With what, he didn’t know. What he did know was that he didn’t want to be here.

Lines were impossibly long for anything. Food, bathroom, merch, entrance, you name it, there was a line. While he waited with JJ, he ranted about how studies showed that people who stand for extended periods experience a 47% increase in overall body discomfort.

“Are you going to be like this the whole night?” JJ joked, trying to get Spencer to lighten up and have a little fun. He was not having it as he thought there were much more productive ways to spend his night.

That all changed when the concert started with the headliner on stage. He did his best to not pay attention to how every part of his body was touching somebody else’s or how his ears felt like they were about to burst. Honestly, they might’ve with how close the seats were to the stage. Spencer sighs and tries to take JJ’s advice, looking up at the singer. He swears his hearing must’ve gone out by now because the noise has dwindled to a soft buzzing, like a bee, and his body feels warm as he zones in on the singer. He HAD to talk to you.

When the concert ended and everyone walked like zombies towards the exits, Spencer was pushing in the opposite direction, your direction.
