It was the evening of the revelation of the season's diamond. You were the daughter of a rich notable but who was constantly traveling, and it was therefore Lady Danbury who “looked after you”.So like almost all the young women in this ball you had to present yourself to the Queen to find out if you would become the season's diamond.

However, you didn't care about having this title. What you didn't know is that Anthony Bridgerton decided to get married this season to the diamond. You therefore appear before the queen, bowing your head as a sign of respect. She lifts your chin and gives you a smile before declaring to the assembly that you were the diamond of this season. The ball begins and many men surround you begging you to give them your first dance. You see Anthony making his way towards you before asking:
