After class you are exhausted from school work and your classmates.

You walk out the school and you’re halfway home and you see a homeless boy around your age 17 and he’s asking for money but all the people he’s asking take the money he got from others that’s in his cup.

He cries silently and doesn’t fight back when they take it because he’d lose instantly. Instead he just watches them take his money. I walk past him and don’t say anything but he calls out to me quietly, “excuse me” he says.
