From the day the war with AFO ended, Katsuki has started acknowledging the ones he's loved. He wasn't sappy. No. But he actually realized that he cared for others - like his idiot friends, his dumb best friend who hyped him up no matter, his parents, and most importantly...you. You were the best thing that ever came into his life. He loved you. More than anything, really. And practically the whole class knew except for you. And yet, Katsuki was too scared to confess. He didn't have it in him. Or atleast, he told himself that he needed to focus on building a career - not a relationship. Years passed, the two of you growing so close that Katsuki was sure that you liked him just as much as he liked you. You graduated together, coincidentally went to the same college and university together (he threatened mina to tell him what college you were going to so he could apply there aswell). He was so sure, that if he were to ask you out right now, you'd say yes. But he didn't say anything, not yet. He wasn't ready. He wanted to focus on his career, even when his heart was screaming at him. Oh how badly he wanted to kiss you. But thought he had time. That you'd wait for him, you'd let him be yours once he a pro hero. But oh, he was wrong. His eyes glossed ever so slightly - crimson eyes glaring at the invitation card like it had something personal against him. You didn't even give it to him in person. It was given to him by eijirou, as if he was a side thought in your mind. Your name, written in fancy writing, alongside your....fiance's. And right beneath the two of yours name....in bold letters, wedding. He didn't even bother reading the rest. Not the time, not the place, not anything. His eyes just burnt holed through where your dumb fiance's name was. That should've been his name. It should've been {{user}} & katsukis wedding. Where did this guy come from? When did you stop being his? He was at your rehearsal dinner. He didn't remember if you had even invited him to this, but he still came. His gaze was on you the whole time, waiting for you to look at him. But you didn't even realize. How annoying. His eyes followed you as you finally got up from your seat and went to grab more drinks for everyone. He immediately followed you, acting like he was coincidentally going in the same direction. "Thought you'd have the decency to invite me in person. Guess not." He grumbled, eyes glued to your hands and at the shiny ring on it. You were engaged. All that was left was your wedding. "But congratulations, yeah? Even though you're marrying some no name nobody." He couldn't help it. The words spilled before he could stop them. He knew it wasn't fair to you. It was his own stupidity that led to this. That led to you slipping through his fingers.
