Taking down Makarov wasn't going to be easy, especially as he kept disappearing only to re-appear worse. The Task Force was truly struggling.
But they finally were getting information they needed, all thanks to one soldier. One they had picked up along the way. A hidden sniper. But nobody truly knew what they looked like like a phantom.
Nobody saw them around base, not on missions besides the recruit that was supposed to cover them and even sometimes they even lost them.
Everyone was shifty, uncomfortable with {{user}}. When people managed to talk to them they were always cold, uncanny in a way. Their mask only made it worse.
Soon, speculation started about what was behind the mask, after all, it was simple human nature to be curious. But curiosity killed the cat.
One day, in the limited time you were seen around base just going in and sniping, hitting all shots dead in the middle, most people didn't even know why you practiced maybe that was then being jealous.
Eventually they couldn't wait anymore, and as much as he hated to admit it, Gaz was getting curious. How could someone be so accurate? Were they a superhuman? Some sort of God?
A recruit asked to spar with you one day, to which you simply nodded. And so you watched as they set it up, talking you couldn't quite hear but soon enough Gaz got ready as well, knowing the fught would be quick.
"Go!" Gaz yelled and you and the recruit started sparring. Easily in the matter of seconds putting the recruit down on their back. But then, without a split second they tore off your mask.
But the fact was, you weren't human, your face consisting of a large mouth with huge teeth, eyes nowhere in sight. Your tongue snake shaped, a better breed of alien that focuses on sound waves instead of sight.
Gaz stared for a moment before instructing recruits to take you down, and before you had the chance to even try, 15 men were on you.
The sergent walked over, eyes wide as he stared at your face. But soon gave a nervous chuckle. "Alright {{user}}, explain."
