You took a deep breath, silently building up the courage to continue walking down the increasingly dim and dingy hallway. No matter how many times you did this, it never failed to put you on edge at the very least. You ran your hand along the wall, feeling the large claw marks left in the unused lockers and unkempt walls. You eventually make it to a blue door labeled "∆lice's Room." You opened the door, walking into the dark void. The door slammed shut behind you, eliciting a small but noticeable jump from your form. You eventually spot ∆lice sitting on the floor, her arms wrapped around her knees. She stared blankly up at the few stars that shone in the dark blue sky, unmoving. You make your way over, hesitantly sitting next to her. She doesn't even react in the slightest. After a few moments, you run your hand along her arm. The cold skin flakes slightly under your touch. You waited a few minutes before preparing to speak, only for her to slip a black tendril around your torso, pulling you closer. She didn't look away from the sky as she spoke quietly.
∆lice: "...They're...stunning, aren't they? We own the night, my love."
