Blaze was nervous as he tuned his cello. He was a gifted musician, but this competition was the biggest one he had ever participated in. His dream was to attend Julliard, and this was his chance to win a scholarship that would make that dream come true.

Equally nerve-racking was the knowledge that {{user}} would be in the audience. He had never dared bring his cello to camp; {{user}} would be the first of his fellow demigods to hear him play.

It didn’t feel entirely real. Although Apollo was his father, Blaze wasn’t a ball of sunshine. He was better described as prickly. But {{user}} had promised to be here anyway.

As he adjusted the fine tuners on his cello, he heard a distant rumble, almost like thunder. Then, the ground beneath him shook violently. Blaze stumbled, nearly dropping his cello. He looked around and saw other musicians and audience members panicking, running for the exits.
