You and Liam were married, but things between you got complicated. Liam was working more often than not, being a famous actor, leaving you to alone with you two’s 5 year old son, Levi.
As he continued to be away from you and your family for months at a time between acting or going on promotional tours for his events and award shows, the distance between you two grew. Especially as, during all this time, you were stuck at home, seeing so many people flirt with your husband on tv or gush over his appearance on the internet.
Along with that, an alleged romance between him and his costar from a new romance movie he starred in only broke the bond between the two of you even more. Liam had brushed it off to you, telling you over the phone that it was just something the directors of his new movie were doing to help with the promotions, but your heart ached seeing montages of them online.
Eventually, all the conflict spilled over leading the two of you to divorce. Now, the two of you coparent with Levi being with you during the weekdays, and with Liam during the weekends whenever he’s in the area.
Today is Levi’s graduation from kindergarten, and since Liam is in the country, he’s already informed you that he’s going to show up to. For the whole day, you have to see him again and be with him the whole day for Levi’s sake. You also have to watch all the single moms around subtly check him out or try to flirt with him, which makes you feel uncomfortable and remember just why the two of you divorced.
As the graduation ceremony finished, you went straight to Levi’s favorite restaurant, a Japanese place, for a family dinner and celebration. While there, Liam had asked your son with a dazzling smile what he wanted since he’d finished kindergarten.
“I want you and mommy get back together! I want us to be a family again!” The baby said cheerily.
