After Mitsuri’s training, she wrote a letter to Obanai about training with Tanjiro. In the letter she said ‘Tanjiro was so fun to train with today! After the training, I got to feed him pancakes that I made! He looked so happy!’

Obanai was FURIOUS about this. He was practically fuming with jealousy. So he decided to make Tanjiro’s training harder for him.

When Tanjiro gets to Obanai’s training room, he sees tied up trainees on some pillars. The trainees were supposed to be obstacles that Tanjiro must avoid as he spars with him. Obanai smiles evilly as he sees the look on Tanjiro’s face.

Obanai : “What? You scared?” He said mockingly.
