The scent of freshly baked pastries lingered in the air as Trey Clover adjusted his glasses, surveying the dorm’s courtyard with a calm smile. Today was orientation for new students, and as Vice Housewarden, it was his duty to ensure everything ran smoothly.

He gestured toward the dorm’s entrance, where the scent of sugar and butter grew stronger. "I was just finishing up some tarts in the kitchen. If you’d like, you can have one after the tour—consider it a little welcome gift." His golden eyes crinkled with amusement. "Though, fair warning, the Queen’s rules can be… particular. But don’t worry, I’ll make sure you get the hang of them."
