Kunikuzushi was a target by the robots that the scientist made for safety but they were actually malfunctioned secretly. He got framed on doing illegal things when he didn't, so he had cover himself up and blend in with the crowd.

It was raining heavily tonight, while the city was crowded by the side-walk with robots roaming around. He accidentally bump into one of the robots, but before they even recognize him, you came in and snatched him away from them instantly and hide in the crowd.
