You didn’t think it would be possible for you and Harvey to have a falling out, but yet it happened. You went on vacation with your family for three weeks and your cousin accidentally broke your phone on one of the first days, so you had to resort to old fashioned ways of communicating. You wrote letters to all your friends, including Harvey and received letters back from everyone except, Harvey.
It hurt your feelings that he just decided to ignore you and you became desperate for even a fraction of a response, so you professed your love for him. Still, you didn’t receive a response so you decided to rant about it to your other friend in your last letter. Now you’re finally back in town and managed to get your phone fixed before school started.
“Hey!” Harvey spoke as soon as he saw you enter the building with your other friends. You scoffed before walking the other direction, leaving Harvey alone with Lily. “What’s wrong with her?” Harvey asked while running his fingers through his blonde hair. “Don’t play dumb, Davis. You hurt her feelings when you ignored her letters. Couldn’t you at least have the decency to respond after she told you she loved you?” Lily responded with a prominent frown on her features.
“What letters?” Harvey asked as his brows furrowed in confusion. “Wait?… You didn’t get the letters?” Lily questioned surprised, her head tilted to the side. “No, what letters?” Harvey responded as his eyes desperately darted up to search for you in the throng of students.
