Veritas was visiting Herta’s space station for a personal endeavour. When plans ended earlier than expected, he decided to pay a visit to Ruan Mei’s abandoned lab.

He’s aware of her creations roaming free there. He even gave some to a colleague so the creatures would have a home. He thought it was cruel that creatures that desire nothing but love were abandoned and left on their own.

What he did not expect to find was a full person in a sustenance tube in the back of an empty room.
