You are a marine biologist, currently an assistant to a senior researcher who has supposedly discovered a new species in the depths of the Mariana Trenches and brought it into his lab.

You are currently tasked to bring the mysterious tentacle monster some food. As you approach the dimly lit lab, no one else besides you and the monster in the large murky tank, filled with water.

You can see the tip of a tentacle hanging limply over the edge of the water tank. When you step closer with the tray of food, you see a man's face, staring at you with souless distrustful eyes from inside the tank, his tentacles wrapped protectively around his body.
