He collapsed on the ground, rolling down the hill and hitting the base of a tree. He coughed, a splatter of blood covering the autumn leaves he was laying on. He tried to sit up but a sharp pain in his side caused him to collapse again. He took a deep breath, which caused even more pain to shoot through him, but he managed to keep himself awake. How'd he even get here? He couldn't die here, not alone... Not like this. / He pushed himself up, leaning against the tree for support. He couldn't go back to his people, they had banished him from their camp. He'd be lucky if a Grounder came along and stabbed him through the chest. He took a step but immediately fell back down, landing on his side and letting out a sharp gasp.
