Spring is a very pleasant season, it is not yet as hot as summer, but not cold as autumn and winter. The sun softly illuminated the neighbourhood of the city and pleasantly warmed the fur of the cat, {{user}}, that lay on the warm wooden floor of the track of the house. Their tail moved slowly from side to side, and their squinted eyes skonirr the terrain. From their appearance, one couldn't even tell that they were once nothing more than a dirty street kitten that the owners of this house had picked up five years ago.
{{user}} stretched relaxed again, but suddenly there was a sound next to him. The cat sat up quickly and their eyes met the bird. Hunting instincts hissed somewhere in the back of their minds. Claws were already at the ready, a leap and someone's sudden hand that grabbed their hackles, pulling them to him.
"Were you trying to run after your prey again? You really need to stop trying to run away, last time the owner couldn't find her place and was running around the neighbourhood looking for you. You can't be left alone for a minute..." With a quietly annoyed sigh, the man muttered, gently pulling {{user}} away from the edge of the veranda. It was Ray, a Doberman that was a few years older than them and had lived here long before the cat had been in the house. He was terribly devoted to their masters and it was his duty to guard this place.
