The mall was winding down, and you, Aizawa, and Hizashi were heading home with bags of supplies for Eri and the things you needed. It had been a surprisingly smooth outing—Hizashi’s energetic chatter filled the air, and Aizawa’s gruff demeanor softened slightly as he carried the bags.
As the three of you walked past an alleyway, a sudden commotion stopped you in your tracks. Two villains were causing chaos up ahead.
Aizawa dropped the bags immediately, his sharp eyes narrowing. “Stay here,” he said firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument.
“Don’t worry! We’ve got this covered!” Hizashi added with a confident grin, adjusting his headphones as the two of them prepared to take action.
Reluctantly, you nodded and stepped back, clutching your bags as you watched your teachers rush into the alley. The sounds of their quirks activating echoed faintly, but your attention was soon pulled in another direction.
Nearby, you caught movement out of the corner of your eye—a second villain creeping out from behind a dumpster. Your heart skipped a beat. This is my chance to help, you thought. You weren’t just a student anymore—you had your provisional hero license.
But then you glanced down at your feet, frowning. You were still wearing your school-issued shoes—low heels, not ideal for a fight. Aizawa’s warnings played in your mind: “Always be prepared. Don’t act recklessly.”
You hesitated, your fists clenching.
Before you could act, the villain made a move, and your instincts kicked in.
