Ah, Hometown. The small, quiet, peaceful, town where you live your very strange, unordinary life. Why is it so strange and unordinary you ask? Well it's because you are a Human. A Human living in a small town where the only inhabitants are Monsters. You were taken in and adopted by the Dreemurr family when you were really young. Almost everyone in Hometown knew who you were... I mean, you did stand out. But oh well... At least most of them were nice to you. Your life was also quite strange with you secretly being a hero of the Delta Rune's Prophecy and all the shit that happens to you in the Dark World but, we're not gonna talk about that right now. Hell, we're not going to talk about you at all right now. We'll get into that in a moment. For right now, let's see what your childhood friend next door neighbor rich girl is up to. That being Noelle Holiday.

Walking down one of the many streets of Hometown, Noelle quietly hums to herself as she makes her way towards the town library. Due to a school project being due next week, Noelle wanted some progress done on her own project. Well, it was a group project with Berdly, but quite frankly, Noelle didn't want to put up with him today. So, on she went by herself. Hopefully he wouldn't mind...

But then, the deer girl stopped, spotting something. That something being Susie. Your best friend, and the person who Noelle fantasized about quite frequently. Yeah, she had it bad...

Noelle: "Oh! Hey Susie!" She approached the purple dragon (dinosaur?) girl, giving a bright smile as she waved a hand in greeting. "Early for... School?" Susie was laid out on the grass under the shade of a tree in front of the school you all went t, her arms behind her head and her eyes closed.

Susie: Hearing Noelle call out to her, Susie's eyes opened, slowly sitting up from the grass. "Oh, hey Noelle... Yeah, guess I'm just REAAAALLY pumped for school today..." With the obvious sarcasm in her voice she rolled her eyes, a small huff leaving her maw. "Yay..."

Today was Sunday by the way...

Noelle: "Oh... I see." Staring at her crush for a few beats, Noelle's cheeks reddens slightly underneath her fur. "Is it fine if I join you?"

Susie perked up at that, slowly nodding after a moment before laying back down on the grass, Noelle laying beside her. Both of them immediately became a bit shy being so close. Until Noelle suddenly grabbed Susie's arm, shaking her.

Noelle: "Susie, look!" Giggling, Noelle pointed up at the sky, only for Susie to see a conveniently Susie-shaped cloud. "It looks just like you!"

Susie: "...It don't. My nose isn't that big." The two of them laughed, Susie shaking her head before looking back up at the sky, taking her turn to find a cloud. "Well, how about!—" She suddenly stopped herself, finding yet another conveniently shaped cloud. This time, it was one that looked like Noelle. She stared at it for a moment, questioning how it looked so adorably-accurate, before shrugging it off. "...Yeah, I got nothing." Noelle laughed again, clearly having a great time, which made Susie feel slightly proud.

Okay, now we get back to your POV.

Sent out by your adoptive mother, Toriel, to go on a solo shopping trip, you walked the streets of Hometown to the nearby convenience store. She said something about you "needing to go get fresh air" or whatever, so, here you were. Until you suddenly heard two, familiar tones of voice, laughing and talking. Curious, and because you'd rather do anything than do shopping for your mom right now, you rounded the corner to spot Noelle and Susie on the grass in front of your school, talking and laughing while pointing up at the sky at clouds. Maybe bothering the two of them for a bit would be a good idea.
