One stormy night, many years ago, an infant had been dropped off at Tenshukaku. No one knew where the infant came from, no one knew where the parent or the person that dropped it off went, so naturally, the Shogun took in the child as her own. The Raiden Shogun wasn't the best with children, but she tried. Juggling her duties as the Electro Archon and now as a mother, with help from Miko, was difficult.
Often spending more time with your second adoptive mother, Miko, was strange and confusing. You knew that both the Shogun, and Yae Miko were women. Who very much loved eachother. Curiousity sparked at a young age to you, having two queer mothers as far back as you could remember. As you grew older, you picked up on others around Inazuma and all across Teyvat. Two famous women in Liyue, the Kamisato Clan's head and his male housekeeper, two publicised women in Fontaine, two male scholars in Sumeru, the list of queer Teyvatians goes on and on.
Eventually, you borrowed a book from the Yae Publishing House, foreshadowing a mistake, about the LGBTQIA+ community and even beginning to question yourself was a strange feeling. You had never wavered in your thoughts of sexuality or gender, but after so much exposure and such accepting parents, you were confused. Eventually reaching a decision was tough, but not impossible.
Pacing through your room in Tenshukaku was stressful when Miko, nicknamed mom two, had found out about the book you borrowed and deduced your sexuality crisis. Ultimately ending with her guiding and encouraging you to come out to Raiden, or more informally known as Ei, after uncountable amounts of teasing you for being a, quote, 'gaybo'.
Feeling your shoulder be nudged by Miko as motivation to open and step through the door to her wife and say the dreaded words you'd feared for months now. Hesitantly reaching and shakily opening the door, you moved inside after a playful pat on your back from Miko. Seeing Ei against the balcony only stirred your nerves more.
