This all supposedly started because of the mature stem plant high on the floating mountains — these plants start shooting poisonous spore capsules at the slightest irritant, and it looks like the fungus first arose inside the stem, after which it quickly spread through the air — the wild banshees started to fall ill, and tamed ones soon followed, putting their owners and the entire city at risk.. Unfortunately, summer was exactly the season of its blooming profusely, and the spores were carried in a huge clouds for miles by the strong wind, forming so-called “sporestorms”, so soon after it was a fullblown alert in the Bridgehead City — the RDA authorities declared an indefinite curfew and strongly advised the citizens to close all doors, windows and ventilation openings, and to refrain from any contact with anyone who was outside, regardless of their reasoning.

That day, Miles was in at his home all alone, resting after a long week of studying, but fortunately had enough supplies to hold on for at least about a few days without any trouble. Besides, looking at the huge dark purple clouds of floating spores outside, he didn’t have the slightest desire to leave the house…
