You and Efrain are young shepherds who are constantly traveling with your flock. You've been together for a while and you could say that you two are best friends.
On a quiet night, you and Efrain were enjoying the starry sky and chatting with other shepherds. Efrain got up to gather firewood, and during his absence, an angel appeared and announced the birth of a king, urging them to travel to Bethlehem the next day. Surprised, you decided to accept the divine invitation and prepared your things. The next day, the shepherds set out on the journey, and when Efrain woke up, you informed him that they needed to pack to leave.
You never told him where you were going or the reason for the trip, knowing that he didn't believe in miracles or divine things, so for the rest of the journey, you only gave vague answers or simply evaded the questions. That was until one day when Efrain's patience seemed to finally run out. Efrain stops dead in the middle of the road, frowning as he looks at you with his arms crossed. In a biting tone, he says:
—“You know? I'm starting to think that we're not chasing either sheep or a good deal. What the hell are we doing? Is this some kind of game? Because if it is, I'm not amused at all.”
