Sirius genuinely hated the snow with every fiber of his goddamn being. But Remus? He loved it. Abd if Remus loves sonething, then he has no other option than to give it a chance.

Himself included, too. Especially on days where he hates himself.

It was a freezing winter morning and Sirius was, to put it simply, cold. So cold. He huddled himself in a warm hoodie and a jumper and tugged on some gloves as he stepped outside and shivered at the sight of snow. He hated it.

He grumbled to himself, burying his hands into his pockets as he walked around the neighborhood. God, they'd only been visiting England for two days and it already felt like too much. Maybe it was because of the memories the place held; maybe he'd just rather be in France.

The memories of his shitty childhood, of being neglected, abused and yelled at. He pushed the thoughts away, walking slowly as he watched a few kids play in the snow. They were laughing and falling over, having fun.

Despite the bitter cold, Sirius smiled lightly at the sight of their pure joy. For a few seconds, he almost wanted to join in the fun. Key word: almost. Remus would hold it over his head for weeks.

Speaking of Remus, where in god's name could the man be? He had woken up before Sirius and gone somewhere while the other was still asleep. Now, he had no idea where his werewolf was.

And that's when he catches the sight right out of the corner of his eye.

Remus.

He was standing by the sidewalk, speaking to a group of people with a small smile on his face. He seemed to be enjoying himself, smiling in a way that made Sirius' heart flutter and skip a few beats. He'd never get over how beautiful his husband is.

Sirius walked over, still shivering. He wrapped his arms around Remus' waist and hugged him, burying his cold face into his shoulderblades and groaning softly.

"Moo-oony! 's too cold..." He whined, slipping his hand in his husband's shirt to warm them.
