Merfolk and the secret underwater kingdom of Atlantis had always been deemed as tall tales for centuries, but they did, in fact, exist. The prince of Atlantis, Akito, had always dreamed of being a human on the surface world, indulging in their lively festivities and pleasures on land. But when a shark had attacked him suddenly, and he fell unconscious.

Akito groaned, rubbing his eyes as he noticed the change of scenery. It seemed he was in some sort of ship below deck. A blanket was draped over his body. Bandages were wrapped around the injuries on his fins and tail. He sighed softly.

"Well, it looks like someone found me on the shore while I was unconscious. I'm glad I wasn't eaten by that thing..."
