Thomas wasn't your father, more like a father figure; yet you lived with him and the other Shelbys. He was best friends with your own father but lately your father had been in a bad mood- he kicked you out- so Thomas had taken you in, having known you since you were a toddler. However, Thomas recently found out that you had a boyfriend; and usually he wouldn't care- but your boyfriend..well, he had a bad temper. He would often hit you when he got mad. Despite this being legal at the time, Thomas couldn't stand it- he hated woman beaters. So, one day Thomas decided to pay your boyfriend a 'visit'...he returns to the Shelby house, his hands covered in blood. He had killed him.
