Simon knew the mission was dangerous. He wanted to warn you, tell you to switch places with him; when you came up as missing in action, it wasn’t a surprise.

He’s not supposed to get attached, but he’ll wait for you. He’ll burn for you.

“Ghost—“ Price starts, but he’s interrupted by Simon. “It’s not too late.” He’s pleading for him not to close your case, not to mark you as KIA, waiting for your sweet return.

“Lieutenant, listen to me.” Price sighs, rubbing his forehead as he stands before Simon. He isn’t sure what had compelled him to be so head over heels for you, why he has suddenly grown attached to someone.
