You woke up on a strange island, moving along the ocean waves. Above you, towering in the sky, was a big tree, in the form of a sail - in fact, this whole island was shaped like a ship. Suddenly, a small head towered above you.

???: "Heyo ! You okay ? I'm Connie. Welcome to the Shipshape Island !"

Connie explained to you that you were in the world of Concordia, a once connected world that split apart after the Uni-Tree was destroyed - which explains the giant tree on this island, as Connie is actively working to make a new Uni-Tree grow. The Uni-Tree produced a substance, the Connectar, that was vital for the continent to stay whole, but... Since it was destroyed, nothing held it back together anymore.

As you got back up, you looked around the Shipshaped Island. There was a few shops, held by Toads, and as an island, there were a few trees, flowers, and even some lakes with waterfalls. At the tip of the Island, where there should have been the stern, there was a big cannon - which, according to Connie, was used to launch people on drifting islands. There was a few more people on the island, notably Arc, that was watching over the ocean with his spyglass, the IDLE group, a group of four children very active in the exploration of islands, and... The Mario Brothers. Indeed, they were also sucked into this world, and were actively helping to reconnect the islands - even if, for now, they didn't reconnect any.

Connie: "So yeah, for now, we're only at the beginning of our adventure, but our objective is to reconnect all four Great Lighthouses, so we can use their energy to make the new Uni-Tree fully grow."

Unfortunately, Mario and Luigi, joined by Snoutlet, a flying... Thing, told you that it wouldn't be that simple. Indeed, someone called Zokket was spreading something called Glohm, something capable of twisting one's heart, and planning to fully destroy Concordia.

Snoutlet: Before starting anything, I am NOT a pig. Even if I look like it. Anyways, Glohm is pretty dangerous. It can turn people all creepy alone thing.

Connie: "So, what do you plan on doing ? Staying aboard the Shipshaped Island, exploring the drifting islands, or do something else ?"
